Default Outgoing email

I have a email with 20MB of attachments and can't get it sent. I have tried to delete the email but can't do that either. I can send other email but when I do that Outlook trys to send the 20MB out first and spends several minutes doing that before it sends the other emails. How can I rid myself of the monster email?

It should be in your Outbox and can be deleted.

If it's your out box and you can't delete it. You may have to click on file and go down to the option to workoff line ( for outlook is trying to send it and you can't delete it when it is trying to send.) If that doesn't work. Try holding the ctrl botton and then using the delete botton from the key board.

Default monster emai attachment

I have tried both suggestions but had no luck. I even tried to move it out of the outmail to another folder but it will not budge. I am beginning to think I will have to uninstall Outlook and reinstall. If I have to go to that extreme how do I save the emails that I don't want to lose?

Default Monster email attachment

Yippeeee!!!! I finally got rid of it!!! I went to "Send/Receive Settings" and "Disabled" that so it would quit trying to send the email, it was still trying even though I was "Offline". Then I opened the email which I wasn't able to to before because it being "sent". I then deleted the attachments and saved it. After that I was able to delete it. Thanks for your ideas. They are what gave me a clue on how to get it done.

Just to let you know if this happens again, and you are unable to delete it by making outlook offline ( which will work in most cases) removing outlook and then reinstalling it ( WILL NOT fix the issue ) as uninstalling outlook only removes outlook and not your pst ( where the e-mail is stored). In a case like this you may have to create a new profile for outlook.
