Default PST Import - "Not a Personal Folder File"

Good afternoon,
Thank you for taking the time to read this post and offer any advice.

Yesterday I copied my Outlook PST from a troublesome computer, wiped said computer and reinstalled the operating system (Vista Business). Then, I installed Outlook 2007 and went about importing from the *.pst I had created. Setup is exactly the same....same operating system, and same version of Outlook.

File was originally copied to USB stick, then copied to Documents\Outlook.

When I try to import the file, I receive the error "The file XXXX is not a personal folder file". If I try to open the file via File, Open, Outlook Data File" I receive the same message.

After searching the net for solutions, I have tried the following:

Uncheck Read Only - Wasn't checked, so OK.
CHKDISK - operation ran fine.
SCANPST - Receive error "The Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Inbox Repair Tool does not recognize the file XXXX. No information can be recovered.
Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair - Receive the error "File not valid".
Disk Doctors Outlook PST Repair - Receive the error "PST File is not valid".

I have tried doing the same from the copy on the memory stick without luck.

This is causing me a major issue as I am now unable to access any emails from prior to end February and what little hair I do have is close to being pulled out!

Thanks for any advice that can be offered that may help me to access this PST file, and restore this PST to my Outlook.

Stucraig.

Sorry to say this but it sounds as if the .PST file is corrupt.
