I work in an Exchange environment and we have been seeing a lot of odd calendar issues since upgrading to Office 2010.

I have one user (Barb) who has several issues that she says were not a problem when she had Outlook 2003.

In this senario everything is from Barb's end.



Barb has been delegated her boss's (Kim) calendar with Editor permissions. She created a meeting on Kim's calendar and it looks fine when viewing Kim's calendar from Barb's PC. The issue is when she opens the meeting on Kim's calendar then clicks "Scheduling" to make a change it appears that Barb and one other person are the two attendees of the meeting but the actual two attendees are Kim and the other person. Kim does not show up in the list of attendees and Barb is not attending herself.

So when the meetings is opened by Barb on Kim's calendar she expects to see Kim and the other person in the list of attendees but instead she sees herself and the other person. When Barb views both her calendar and Kim's side-by-side the meeting looks right. It does not show on her's but it does show on Kim's.

Any help on the issue would be much appreciated. Thanks! Kevin

We are attempting to look into this here, in attempts to replicate the issue. However, a possible work around is to have the delegate place the owner Kim within the same meeting, if possible.

Sorry for the delay in a response. I have attempted to replicate this and was unsuccessful.

-Confirm the delegate meeting request delivery is set to delegate only but send me a copy.

- Also confirm the delegate does not have send on behalf of permissions.
