Default Outlook crashes

I've been working with Outlook for a long time and I have an older e-mail relay pc running windows 2000 and outlook 2003.

Not sure what happened, but Outlook crashed and now anytime I try and open the application it crashes after a few minutes of use.

I don't have any plugins, I tried detect and repair, I tried copying the profile, creating a new profile, creating a new pst, running in /safemode tried /cleanview and not matter what happens the application just won't stay running for more than a few minutes. It even crashed in safemode??

The error is "faulting application" outlook.exe version 11.05510.0 stamp 3f1380f0 faulting kernal32.dll version 5.0.2195.7135 stamp 46236f98, debug?

Not sure what it could be as I have never seen a probelm like this, but I do have all the latest updates, and I have an anti-virus application that is up to date and ran a scan that came back clean. I even tried to replace the kernal32.dll with one from another simular system with no luck.

Anyone have suggestions?

What anti-virus software are you using? Have you tried starting Windows in safe mode? What kind of account is this? POP3? IMAP? Hotmail? Exchange? Something else?

the machine has been up and running for some time so it's odd that it just stopped working one day without ANY changes. AV is CA etrust, and it's a pop3 account.

I setup a profile WITHOUT e-mail and it still crashes so I know it's not the e-mail account at all. I have an issue open with MS and they are reviewing crash dump files.
