Default Changing default delivery location<<

I am using Microsoft Office Professional 2007 on Windows 7.

I have created a new IMAP email account within Outlook which connects to my ISP fine.

However, I am unable to delete the default "Personal Folders" account from the account listing (through Tools/Account Settings/Data files. Obviously this is system active and cannot be changed whilst Outlook is launched.

However, there is a "Set as Default" selection option in this window to change the default to another account within the account list. But when the IMAP account is selected it is just in ghost.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

kind regards,
Geoff

I usually go to mail from the control panel add a new pst file then go to the profile properties and change the profile to use the new pst. Once you open outlook it will setup the new pst and you can simply right click on the old and remove it.
