Cool Auto Forwards

I am trying to auto-forward an email we get from one of our systems to my group. However the auto forward is not the issue. Can i add an additional message within that forward (automatically) before it is sent to the group? If so how do i go about doing that?

Thanks in advance!

Konjis1,

To aid in finding a solution to your question, can you provide additional details:

1. How do you have your forwarding set up? Is this a client side or server side rule or a different way.

2. Are you on an exchange platform?

Keep me posted and i will do what i can to assist.

I have forwarding set up as this:

1. Email from System X comes to me
2. Once email from System X hits my inbox, it forwards out to Group A

Yes we are on an exchange account.

thanks for your reply. based of what you have provided me you can construct a rule like the one below:

Message is received from member or group > reply using a specific template and forward to member or group.

This seems to be the only way you can construct a message and send it automatically. note this process is to use a static message response. Meaning if you want a different response each time, you will have to manually forward the message from your inbox.

Hope this helps
