Default "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients."

It seems that this error is quite widespread and it occurs when you try to send a mail in Outlook.
See here:

The suggested solution in this thread is to delete the affected contact and create a new one. That's what I did but it didn't change anything. It seems like it is impossible for Outlook to send a mail to one of my adresses. Sending messages to other adresses is possible, everything is set up properly but still Outlook refuses to send any email to this adress and only returns the following error:

Quote:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: Test
Sent: 23.02.2011 11:07

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'XXXXXXXXXX' on 23.02.2011 11:07
Server error: '550 5.1.1 <XXXXXXXX@gmx.XX>... User is unknown {mp067}'

When you are typing in the email or name in the TO: field, are you using the auto complete? Or are you typing the address out? If you are using the auto complete, try this:

1. start typing the name till the user pops up in the auto complete box .
2. highlight the name and press delete.
3. type the full email address out in the TO field
4. Send the email
