Default Stop individual emails from being archived.

I have certain folders that are set to my archive preferences. However, there are a few emails inside these folders, that I do not want archived at all. Is there a way to protect individual emails from archiving, when they are in a folder that is set to archive?

e.g. I have a folder named Shift Updates that is set to AutoArchive for items older than 2 weeks. However, I have a few templates for the Shift Updates that I don't want to Archive, so they will be at my fingertips. Is my only option to take them out of that folder, (even though I don't want to create a Misc. template folder) and set it to not archive?

I would think it would be possible to say, right click, and protect certain emails from archiving, even though they are in an archivable folder.

Thanks for any help you can give.
