Anyone know where Outlook would have stored sent emails?
My brother had Office 07 on his laptop(Vista) and uninstalled it and reinstalled it on his work desktop(Win7 64). He says he no longer has his old sent mail which I am assuming was downloaded and deleted from his mail server by Outlook. Does anyone know where that mail would be stored on his old laptop? I imagine the uninstaller would not delete his data unless it asked him to "really cleanup well"...
I suggested he think about a Google business account and keep it all in the cloud going forward. Thanks for any help! |

Unfortunately, when you uninstall the outlook client, all data associated with the client is removed.
Outlook stores all data in a local .PST file. You can search the following location to see if any Outlook data files remain. Start>computer>(main hard drive designation)>users>(Username)>app data(this requires hidden folders enabled)>local>Microsoft>Outlook Any Outlook data files will marked Hope this helps. |
