Help with delete in Outlook 10....can I undo?
Hi-
I have Windows 7 64 bit and Outlook 2010 and I messed up somehow. Under my Outlook Data file folder, I had several folders which I used to sort various pieces of e-mail. I did a search looking for a keyword in my Outlook Data File folders, but I didn't find the e-mail I was looking for as I think the keyword was too general and there were too many e-mails. This is where I messed up. Under the Outlook Data File folders, in the Search Folders, I had the folder where I did my search. I did some sort of delete, and now all of the e-mails that I had sorted in my various folders under the Outlook Data File are gone. It looks like they got mixed in with the 1000's of other e-mails I have deleted in the past in the respective deleted items folders from my 3 e-mail accounts my Outlook 2010 supports. Is there any way I can UNDO this delete so that all of these accidentally deleted e-mails go back to their respective sorted folders? Thanks! |

If you are on an Exchange Server, then yes. But if you have a regular pop3 or IMAP account, once you delete something from the deleted items folder, it is gone for good.
