Outlook anywhere and cert problems
A couple problems in outlook... Both more so an annoyance than any sort of serious issue. problem #1... We click yes and all is fine, we receive emails and all... On the cert the mismatch is *.domain.com while when we are internal we use server.doman.local... Only way I can think of to get rid of this is to have another self signed cert that has the local for when people are on the local network. For this to work though I need to know how to go about installing the self signed cert without the users in the office setting off some sort of alarms and asking what to do. problem #2... This one just causes a prompt for username/password... Checking remember password does nothing as it will prompt again anyways when outlook is restarted (and sometimes randomly throughout the day). If I uncheck it, it just rechecks itself and prompts for the password again. I'm using an Exchange 2010 server with *mostly* outlook 2007 clients... The few outlook 2010 clients don't see any of my problems come up at all *I think* |
