Problems moving Outlook Data to new computer
I am trying to move my Outlook 2007 data (email, calendar and contacts) from my old work laptop(Outlook 2007 Exchange server) to my personal PC (Outlook 2007). I have a cached file (ost) on the old laptop, but the configuration will not allow me to create a backup PST file ... when I use the EXPORT function I get a message "PST (Personal Storage) usage is disabled on this computer".
I've read through the MSOffice FAQ but can't figure out what to do next. Questions:

Since this is on an Exchange Server, you may want to check with your admin to see if they disabled the feature for some reason.
Found this in another post: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q258277/, is a link to microsoft saying to add the entry to disable pst sharing, so a natural assumption would be to delete it, to restore it. However, if it is implemented as part of domain policy then it will just reset with the next boot. |

Is there some way to use the OST file and import it into another Outlook client? |
