Default Can I set appointment reminders default to "None" in 2010

After I make a new appoint; and save it, the reminder box always shows up if I don't first set the reminder to "None". It's always set to 15 minutes.

I would like the default set to "None".

Thanks!

Salin,

If you select File > Options > calender > defualt calender reminder, you can set it to zero this should set it to none.

Hope this helps

I am having the same problem. I want my default reminder set to "none". I set it to zero minutes; however I did get a reminder for the event at the time it was supposed to start. When I went to options there was no option for "none", just "0 minutes". Is the only way to set it to none is by siabling default reminders?
