Have just done a clean install of Windows 7.
I use Outlook 2007 for my e-mails. When I select a file in my personal folders and click on backup, the "save backup" option is not highlighted. What is the solution to this problem. Also I now have 3 personal folder files because of file errors i made when installing Outlook - how do I delete unwanted personal folders? |

Ditto! I use Outlook 2010 but the same issue with me. I suspect the problem is that Windows 7 (I upgraded - not clean installed) does not permit this app to run. I've tried it in Safe Mode as well but , even though I get the old interface offering the option to set the backup location and to save the backup, when I exit Outlook, nothing happens (whereas before I got a save progress screen window). What a pity as this WAS such a neat app that saved a lot of hesartache over the years. I wonder if anyone has worked out a tweak yet to resolve this problem!

You are the first person to reply, so it may not be a general problem. I it was general i would have expected more response from the forum. Even so very irritating.
