Default Outlook Search Folders

I have a few search folders setup in outlook to quickly find all mail to and from specific people. If I click on a folder, only the mail to or from that person shows; however, my bosses' folder suddenly changed. Now when I click on his search folder, ALL my email to or from anyone is showing. Also, if I get a new email, his search folder will become bold and show 1 new email or however many unread emails I have. Why would this happen? Does this indicate that my boss has requested access to my mailbox and is monitoring my email.

Thank you for your help!
