Outlook Question When Migrating From Office 2007 To Office 2010
I am currently a user of Office 2007 on both my desktop and laptop. When I travel I import and sync my PST files from my desktop to my laptop, and visa versa when I return back to the office. I want the email files to always be the same on both machines. BTW - I use POP email. If I upgrade my desktop to Office 2010 will I still be able to do the same thing? If I want to continue working with my email files this way do I have to upgrade both machines? I do have 2 copies of Office 2010 I haven't installed yet. I am quite happy with the way 2007 works and frankly I like the look of Outlook 2007 better without the ribbon menus. Is there any compelling reason to change? Is there any feature of Outlook 2010 that is truly better? Lastly, are the PST files compatible between 2007 and 2010? Thanks |

Personally I prefer the look and feel of 2010 over 2007. Here are some of the changes that are in 2010 compared to 2007.
http://www.notebookreview.com/defaul...n+Outlook+2010 I don't think there should be any issues with using the pst file with 2007 and 2010. The pst file just holds all of your info like emails, addresses, notes etc. |
