I did the latest Microsoft updates today (12-14-2010) and since the the "Archive" option is missing from my file menu, the properties of each folder, and the "Other" tab on the tools menu. I have two W7 Ultimate systems both with Office 2007 and both using Outlook. After the update they are both the same. I need to archive and I have spent tons of time setting up all of the archive settings on each folder, 100's of them. Does anyone have information on this?
Thanks |

UPDATE
I went in and uninstalled update #KB2412171 from Windows Update dated 12/14/2010 and the Archive option is back. Definitely a bug in the MS update. Install that update with caution if you want to archive. |

I can confirm this as affecting my system also (Outloook 2007 on Win 7).
In addition to removing all archiving options, this update made opening my outlook mail folders incredibly slow. Uninstalling reverts to normal speed and archive available again. Martin |
