![]() Hi everyone, I have an error with my bosses .pst file when I try to open Outlook, which causes it to close again (why is it always him who has the problems I can't solve?) I have tried running the scanpst.exe on his PC and it says a .dll file is missing. I then placed a copy of the .pst on the server and used my PC (Win 7) to run scanpst.exe instead. However, when I try to repair the errors it crashes because the .pst file is around 4.2gb in size. I also cannot open the .pst in my Outlook 2007 on my machine as it says the attachment is too large. I have also tried using the compressor tool I got from the MS website (PST2GB) but this has a run time error 52 'bad file name or number'. Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can shrink the file to make it repairable? Or is there an alternative suggestion altogether..? Thanks for your help, Richard |
