Default Update Outlook but user path changed

Hi guys - I recently set up MS Office on my new PC & used the Save My Settings Wizard to bring across all my settings from the old PC. It appears to have worked correctly for all other MS Office products (Word, Excel etc).

However I have changed my user name from the one used on the old PC, so when I first went to open Outlook, it told me that the Outlook.pst file was not in the path c:\Documents and Settings\oldusername\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

It is correct obviously, because this path is now c:\Documents and Settings\NEWusername\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook on the new PC. It seems in this case using the Save My Settings Wizard has locked in the path name from the old PC from which I saved the settings, & Outlook cannot figure out that it is looking for the same file in the same path, just with the new user name for the new PC.

Outlook itself opens eventually after a few Cancels, just with no Calendar & Contacts data. I have also saved these files separately, but again the export wizard in Outlook seems to have saved the old path name so I can't import them directly.

Any tips for getting Outlook to open these files correctly, without uninstalling & reinstalling Outlook? All I really want is the Calendar & Contacts working - I don't use Outlook for email or network connection in any way.

Cheers

You can copy the .pst file from your old pc onto your new pc, then use the import feature within Outlook to import the .pst file into Outlook.
