Question Macro request: open on event

We are running Outlook 2003 and we use shared contacts. The president of the company enjoys deleting these shared contacts by accident. Seeing as there is no prompt to confirm deleting contacts, I have been tasked with finding or writing a macro to compensate for his fumblings.

1) Is there a way to run the macro in the background from the time Outlook opens so that when a shared contact is sent to the Deleted Items folder, it can display a message asking if he is sure he wants to delete it?

2) This macro should only run for deleting contacts out of the Shared Contacts folder.

3) I hope this is possible...

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer!!!!!
