sending emails via outlook using other program
Hi all, I am using a database program to send an email to +/- 500 recipients via outlook, as that is our emailing programme, as each mail is sent individually outlook is asking me on each email if i would like to allow this. Does anybody know of a way to turn this off as it can be very annoying for 500 email having to go through the same process  I am using Outlook 2002 and have SP3 installed. thanks in advance for any help. |

Hi, if you haven't solved your problem yet I suggest you look at Mike Sperry's reply to my query in ‘Sending Bulk Emails’ where he says
“Hi, Yes, the Outlook security prompts are a pain. I think there's a switch in the popup that will allow you to set the amount of time until the next warning to something like 10 minutes. That quickly becomes old after about 20 minutes. So, a company developed a utility called Click Yes (http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/). It will click the Yes button on your behalf, which is great, but some people consider this a huge security risk. You might be better off upgrading to at least Outlook 2007 which won't suffer from this problem, or buy a tool that will do a mail merge for you like our (ahem) Send Individually (http://www.SperrySoftware.com/Outloo...dividually.asp). Hope this helps! Mike Sperry http://www.SperrySoftware.com Find 37 Outlook add-ins that can make a difference!" I think this might solve your problem as it has mine. |
