Outlook 2007 add recipient pause
I produce a newletter which is emailed directly out of Word 2007, which is of course sent through Outlook 2007 in Office.
In Outlook I have the subscribers split into groups of less than 50 to avoid spam traps and my own ISP blocks emails of more than 75 or so. Thus, when I send the newsletter I click on "To:" in the email dialogue bar that drops down in Word. Up pops the Outlook address selection box. I click on "To:" in that and add my own email address to "To:" then I bcc the first group of subscribers - called Subs-A-D, click OK and send. Now here's the problem..... I click on email again and in the Outlook address box this time just highlight and delete the first group (Subs-A-D) in the bcc field, then click on the bcc button to 'try' to add the the second group Subs-E-H. Sometimes it lets me, but often it will sit there for ages and ages before it alows puts that group in the bcc address box and sometimes it just hangs. I do have all the Office up-dates installed |
