Default Outlook Journal is Driving me Crazy

Hi,

I dont know whats happening. I have Outlook 2010, and I never activated the Journal function. I´ve double-checked and I know is deactivated. But all of my windows desktop searches return just Journal entries, there are millions of them all over my pc. I cannot delete them, i cannot see where they are stored.

It's really frustrating.

So, folks if anybody could be so kind as to point me in the right direction:
1) how can i delete all of those journal entries?? in my outlook there is not a Journal folder, I've verified this 1,000 times.
2) How can I prevent this from happening again? I've checked several times and the Journal feature is not activated anywhere on the options menu.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
