I recently got a Windows 11 Pro computer. I've installed my Office 2016 ( a volume license version I got when I was education director for a local computer club ). It runs great with only one problem. I love Outlook 2016, but can't get my outlook.com email address installed. I even changed my MS account password. But I can't get it passed the asking for account password dialog box. I put it in. It acts likes it's trying to find and set it up, and then the dialog box comes up again asking for the password. No matter how many times I try, it's the same result. Like I said earlier, I even tried changing my password, but nothing seems to work.

Add your Outlook.com account in Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support
"If you try to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook and it repeatedly asks you for a password and will not accept the password you know is correct, you may have two-factor authentication enabled." See the instructions in the "Adding an Outlook.com account if you use two-factor authentication" section. |
