![]() I have numerous times edited my NormalEmail.dotm file which was created from the Normal.dotm file. Both files have the Normal and subsequent styles based on Normal to be text color green. Yet every time when I open my 2013 Outlook the Normal style and any styles based on the Normal.dotm the text color is Automatic. Very frustrating. Does anyone know why and better yet how to fix this issue? Many thanks to anyone who can provide a solution. |

Is the NormalEmail.dotm being changed? If so, I found that setting it Read Only stops any changes.

This did not change anything. I am just going to live with this as I expect to upgrade form 2013 Outlook to 2021 in the near future.

Have you checked your system to see how many NormalEmail.dotm templates you have?
%appdata%\Microsoft\Templates will only look under your user profile, but you may also have a template under Documents\Custom Office Templates. If you do it is likely that this is the one Outlook actually uses. You also need to ensure that the font settings under File | Options | Mail | Stationery and Fonts match those in your NormalEmail.dotm |
