So I have this new Windows 11 Pro computer that I recently setup with Microsoft Office 2024 Professional and the person using it has several email accounts, AOL and GMail and both are setup in Outlook with IMAP and the GMail account seems to work fine but the AOL account seems to have issues. For example today when I look at her AOL emails in Outlook there is a large gap in recent emails from April 14th until 10:13am this morning where if I login through the web and look at her inbox there are lots of emails from April 14th until today. Also Outlook says "Synchronizing" and it's been saying that for more than an hour and it's taking forever to complete, maybe they'll reappear when it finishes but right now I can't see any recent emails in Outlook.




Now when I set this up I went into AOL settings and did get an App Password which is what I'm using in this AOL account. Also in another recent post I had issues on this computer with folders being "Filtered" and that is not the case in this instance because Outlook does not display that this folder is "Filtered" and all filters have been removed.


So what is the issue between Outlook and AOL using IMAP?
