Default office 2013 sttempts to install at each open - yikes. what to do, don't want 365

On 7/10 it was a clear day here in AZ. I tried to get my email and was notified that I had to reinstall office 2013. Keeps doing it each time I tried to start outlook. I need to know how I can get rid of this and go back to office 2013. I've got stuff I need to respond to like bills and other stuff. What the Hell. I sure this is some doofus marketing strategy to get people using 365. paid for 2013 and expect it to work, not disabled for more profits. Whatever happened to 'if it ain't broken, don't fix it? Push come to shove MS will be in the wind and I'll use something else. It's usually a registry item that causes the redirection, but how to find it?
