Outlook 2010 rule has stopped 'seeing' Contact entries
I am having a strange behavior on one of my rules that has been working very nicely for years. The rule moves every new message to the Junk E-mail folder UNLESS the sender is found in the Contacts folder. The idea is to move any message from unknown senders to the Junk E-mail folder where I can drag the non-spam back to the Inbox.
This rule seems to have stopped matching addresses in the Contacts folder. Starting a week ago, every new message is moved to the Junk E-mail folder, even the ones whose sender is found in the Contacts folder. I have verified that the addresses match by using the Lookup Contact option on the messages themselves and getting a match. I have recreated the rule from scratch and have run PSTSCAN but the rule still fails to recognize the Contacts. I would appreciate any ideas about how to troubleshoot and correct this behavior. |
