Outlook 2007 Freezes On Start Up
I have had this issue for several months and cant find a way to fix the problem. Each time I close Outook and restart my computer and then try to start outlook again outlook freezes on the start up. Under the mail folders the grey bar which states which file is currently listed in the reading pane window is always set on "outbox". Often I have to restart the computer 2-3 more times and try opening in safe mode before the glitch is fixed and I can use outlook normally. When I try to end task on the not responding program it says outlook cannot shut down and suggests I restart my program. Ocassionally I can press end task about 30 times quickly and it causes the program to shut down. Please help!! |

Most possible reason is the PST (Personal Data Storage) file damage. Try to move the PST file to another folder and start Outlook. It will create a new one file. You can try then to import the old .pst file content into newly created .pst.
If the problem persists, you have to reinstall the Outlook. |

I would advice you to disable the com add-ins from your Outlook application.
Please follow the below link to disable the add-ins: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...010034127.aspx I expect this would help. |
