I need to routinely forward messages to a contact category. When I click 'To' in the email editor window, the address book feature has very few options, none of which allow me to choose a category.
Drag and drop from the contacts folder doesn't work either, it copies several text fields from each contact. The contacts need to be managed by category, it's an export from another application. Help? |

Not sure exactly what you are trying to accomplish but if you are looking for seamless migration from one application to another its best to look at your new application an find that work around.
It appears you are attempting to categorize contacts and if correct forward messages from this category to its own folder. You can accomplish this by creating contact groups or simply by individual contacts to apply the category.. if your attempting to forward these messages, creating rules might be what your looking for. Supplying additional detail on what type of behavior you would like to happen will help aid in finding the proper solution. |
