Microsoft account and email addresses
I have a desktop computer and a laptop both running MS Office 2019 Professional Plus. I only have one Microsoft account but both PC's are set up to use a local account and each one uses a unique email address (e.g. email1@charter.net and email2@charter.net in Outlook. The Microsoft account uses the email address used by the desktop (email1@charter.net).
I want to synchronize my iPhone with the calendar and contacts on the laptop. From what I have read one way is to create an Outlook.com account and point the iPhone to that. Not sure about what I have to do. Does this sound right? 1. Create a Microsoft account for email2@charter.net 2. Add the new Microsoft account to the laptop 3. Delete the email1@charter.net account from the laptop 4. Set the laptop to use a local account?????? 5. Create an Outlook.com account using email2@charter.net 6. Add the Outlook.com account to the iPhone |

Used a consultant to get this working
This was beyond my comprehension so I had a local consultant set it up for me. I know that she used Outlook.com to do it and set up some aliases. Beyond that I don't know what she did or how it works, and I'm not comfortable with that. If anything breaks it I am in trouble.
