Outlook Navigation Bar
Hello: I know, I know... there's been lots of conversation with respect to the moving of the Outlook 'navigation bar' (mail, calendar, people, etc.). Quick summary before posting my question: - I was one of those users who was a bit annoyed that Microsoft moved Outlook's navigation bar from the bottom (horizontal) to the left (vertical). - As time progressed, however, I had gotten used to its new position (in Office/Outlook 2019). - Now, about a month ago, I upgraded to Office/Outlook 2021... again, I was ok w/ its new position (left vs. bottom). - However, today, Microsoft Outlook "updated" itself AND now the navigation bar is back at the bottom. So, while I had just "re-trained my brain" to locate the navigation bar at the left, I have to re-train (or undo) my brain again to now look for it at the bottom. This is particularly annoying as my employer's Office version still shows it on the left. What's up w/ the inconsistent placement of the navigation bar (bottom, then left, now back to bottom)??? Can Microsoft NOT make up its mind? VR, An annoyed/frustrated Office user |
