Make Exchange calendar the default calendar
Hi,
I am using Outlook 2007 and have two profiles. One I use to connect to my private email accounts via IMAP, another I use at work for accessing my Exchange account. In the calendar view of the work profile, I see two available calendars: the first called "Kalendar" (the Exchange server speaks German) and the second "Calendar in Personal Folders". After starting always the second one is selected and I have to deselect it and select the first one to see my Exchange calendar. Often I forget and then Appointments I create end up in the wrong calendar. Is there any way to make the Exchange calendar the default calendar for my work profile? Thanks and regards, Robert |

This is possible, however, can you provide some answers to a couple of quick questions.
1. You stated you toggle profiles. can you add your iMAP account to your Exchange account so you never have to toggle between the two? 2. Which account was created first? 3. The calendar in your personal folder, is this a shared calendar? Normally the exchange calendar, or your personal exchange calendar is what your Outlook client defaults too. once you select the calendar you should be able to save by closing the application. Hope this helps |
