Default Does size of PST take account of ALL PST files? MS Outlook 2021 Pro

A search on *.pst results in a list that includes my "main" pst file and seven others, such as archive.pst, archive 04-14-23.pst, [email address].pst, [another email address].pst, and so on. I don't know why there are separate pst files for a few of my many email addresses. Can I delete those?

Regarding the maximum size allowed, which I think is 50 GB, does it take into account all pst files or just the large one being accessed daily? The other pst files are all less than 75,000 KB, some far less. The main pst is still not unduly large at less than 2 GB.

Thanks.
