Outlook 2019 format of new mail and replies
The format of new mail and replies in Outlook 2019 look different to me. I've been using Outlook for many years and am using three versions on three different computers so I don't know how I would not have noticed this sooner. On earlier versions, the To, Cc, and Bcc have boxes for the names/addresses whereas the 2019 version is just displaying a line. Did something change and can I change it back, or have I been oblivious all along?
I tried to post images but couldn't get them to display. Last edited by taherte; 08-30-2023 at 07:33 PM. Reason: Images not visible |

There are many ways to customize the appearance of Outlook. Perhaps the change in appearance you're noticing is due to one or more setting changes.
For some weird reason, Microsoft thinks it's wise to distribute these kinds of settings willy-nilly in different areas of the application. Here are a few places to check: In the main Outlook interface: Check the "View" ribbon. Or go to "File" > "Options" > "Mail" > "Editor Options..." and/or "Stationery and Fonts.." If you open a new email message, check the "Options" ribbon for ways to tweak the appearance. |
