(I’m using Outlook 365 in Windows 10 on five PCs)

I recently had to switch a couple of my old Gmail POP accounts to IMAP (Google insisted). The IMAP accounts are now working on my main PC but they are not working on any of my other PCs even though I am using identical settings on all of the PCs.

I’m using the following server settings for the IMAP accounts:
IMAP: port 993, encryption SSL/TLS.


SMTP: port 587, encryption STARTTLS (also tried 465 & SSL/TLS)

The most common error messages I’ve seen are: 1) connection failed and 2) I’m using the wrong user name and/or password which is not true.

I don’t understand why everything works on my main PC but IMAP doesn’t work on the other PCs using identical settings. (POP accounts continue to work on all of my PCs.)

Any clues appreciated!
