Hi, I had to install Outlook 2007 anew after a system crash. After the instatllation the programm has all the foregoing data assumed. But when I will receive emails from my server I get now always the message:




The target principal name is incorrect
Do you want to continue using this server?


But this really depressive.
What is to do??

Outlook 2007 is about 15 years old and out of support. You are using Windows 11?

I'm sorry, I do not have an answer for you because I primarily answer questions about Word. Someone else here may be able to help you, though.

OUTLOOK 2007 worked since 15 years without problems. I think now, that it should be a problem of the server I use?? It is GMX, but I don't see there some help.
