Default OUTLOOK 365 | Link to Word document won’t advance to bookmark

I’m trying to add links in Outlook Tasks that refer to instructions for completing tasks in a specific section of a Word document stored on OneDrive:
  • I set bookmarks in the Word document to the specific sections, saved the file to OneDrive, and closed the file.
  • I created links in the Outlook tasks referring to the bookmarked sections and saved and closed the tasks.
  • I made sure that the Word Document and Outlook data file have been uploaded to OneDrive
When the links in the Outlook tasks are clicked, the Word document opens but does not advance to the bookmark set in the link:
  • I tested the bookmarks in the Word document and they advance as expected.
  • Here’s a sample link: C:\Users\debsm\OneDrive\Reference Manuals\Finance and Reporting.docx#RR_CreditMonitoring
Any advice would be appreciated!
