Problems with the format of contact names
Since migrating to Office 365 I'm having a small issue with the format of contact names.
In existing contacts, someone like Bill Smith (First name Bill, second name Smith) shows as Bill Smith in the Full Name field - as it should. I can then choose how to file it, in the File As field. That all works as it should. The issue is with new contacts that I create. If I enter Bill as the first name, Smith as the second name, the Full Name field is populated with Smith Bill. This doesn't make a huge difference except it disrupts a mail merge which puts Smith Bill on the envelope ! I have checked the first name and second name fields themselves - they are correct. How do I adjust how the Full Name field displays ? PS I tried editing the Full Name field itself . . . that looked OK but then I found it had swapped the First name and Second name around to Smith and Bill ! |
