Unusually Large Font
I am running Office 2003 and Win XP/SP3. I used MS Word as my email editor.
I am the "computer guy" for a club with 175 members. I send out email to those members a few times a week. Approximately a week ago the emails received by two of the members arrived with the text set to Arial 120 point. I always use Arial 12. The size "received" is exactly 10X the size sent out. It sounds like a slipped decimal point somewhere. I have asked the entire population if they are having this problem. So far, 30 have responded, only 2 have responded stated that they are having this problem. Both claim that it started about a week ago and that only emails from me have giant text. In an email exchange with one of the people having the problem I noticed that in an email I sent to him, 3 of 4 paragraphs have giant font, 1 para did not (they were all set to Arial 12). I also noticed one of his replies back to me was in the giant font. Given the 28:2 ratio of no problem to problems, I would normally assume that it is the recipient's email application. But the fact that it started for both of them about the same time and only my emails are messed up makes me wonder. I did a Google Search for Large Font Outlook and found some bits and pieces about a problem with large font that seemed to be related to the Zoom Factor. I checked everything I could find in the various threads, but found nothing that needed changing. Has anyone heard about a problem like this? Thanks |
