Default HELP! How do I restore a pst file?

I'm having trouble restoring a outlook folder. I switched from one computer to a new computer - and backed up the .pst onto a flash drive then when I got the new computer, put it into the folder and went to open it. It can see the icon and i click open, but the emails don't show up at all on the computer.

It does show email settings, but when I do send/receive, i do see emails download on the bottom right of Outlook, however I don't see them show up on the preview pane or anywhere. How do I SEE them?

One note to make, on the old computer, this was Outlook 2007, on the new one, its 2010. Does this make a difference?
