I am getting the "Either there is no default mail client" error when I try to send an email on Excel
I Use Office 365
I am getting the "General Mail failure" error when I try to send an attachment e-mail through Excel. I installed another mail client and it works when I use the other mail client. I tried the following: - Ensured Outlook was set as the default mail client - Did a Quick Repair - Disabled Cortana - Uninstalled the 64-bit version and installed the 32-bit version - I used the Microsoft Support Assistant tool to completely remove Office 365 and reinstalled it - I used CCleaner to clean up the registry - I tried to edit the following Registry: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\M icrosoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem\MSMapiApps According to the solution, there should be a Version REG_SZ file and I should rename it to Version_Renamed. I can't find the file under the subkey MSMapiApps - The other solution is to delete the MAPI file under Program Files Common Files, but there is no file to delete it |
