Is it safe to delete alternate versions?
Hi everyone! I've just realized there's several GB worth of altrnate versions of mails in the conflicts folder of a mailbox we're using at work (with 3 people). We usually take turns in moving the incoming mail to our subfolders we created in the same mailbox so I have no idea how conflicts should arise since it's always only one person handling one particular mail but oh well.
What's weird is that I had 2 seemingly identical versions of a mail in the conflicts folder after having moved the original mail from the IN folder to my subfolder. For a test I've deleted both copies from the conflict folder and the "original" remained in my subfolder. Does this mean the mails in the conflict folder are copies? If so, I could simply use the cleanup tool's 'delete alternate versions' without losing any data?
Thx!
