Default Outlook 365 causes fans to crank up

I'm using Outlook 365 on the Windows 11 platform and it's heartwarming to say the least.
I am presently enjoying Outlook periodically causing the cpu usage to rip up to a whopping 7 to 8% and it only last for a few seconds but it causes the fans to whip up on this MSI gf76 Katana.
My question is - what is causing Outlook to do that even though I've got the Updating shut off (although I do have the latest update). Checking email does not cause the fans to rev but it's a couple times in an hour that this happens. Is there any way I can stop Outlook from doing what it's doing with the fans?

(Should anyone not see this posting, please advise me immediately)

It could be something other than the CPU usage. Check with the fan profiles and MSI support.
A laptop built for gaming will try and stay ahead of the cooling curve and even an instant of high GPU/CPU usage may trigger the fans to ramp up like that.

I had a Lenovo Desktop that its fans would ramp for no good reason for use of the Chrome browser or FireFox. I could use IE11 without as frequent of issues except for webpage/application compatibility. That was a work PC that the company IT never resolved and wasn't really mine to fix.

Thank you for the reply. I just bought this machine in July of this year (2022) and after the first Windows update, it seems the fans took off on warp drive.
Yesterday, after the Windows update, the fans have not turned up at all. This is the longest it has gone but do I believe it's fixed? Not really but ask me in another week.
Do you feel an update could trigger an event such as this?
By the way, is there a way we can get email notifications when a reply is given to a post?

Thank you Spillerbd (and others) for the clear and concise replies regarding why email notifications are sent out for those who do not post. It's quick answers such as these that make for a healthy forum.
