Default Outlook 2007 - set left-nav one way for mail, another for calendar?

Hello. In Office 2003, one could set a different width for the Mail area and the Calendar area the left-navigation. I write to ask if anyone knows a way to do this in Office 2007. As it is now, I set the width of the left-nav in the mail area, then switch to the Calendar area and set a different width for that. When I switch back to the mail area, the calendar area left-nav width is now default for both, etc. Very frustrating. Does anyone know of a way to make it behave as it did in '03? Thank you, in advance.
