I use the MS Outlook 2003 version currently. The reason I can not swap to one of the two newer versions has to do with making appointments with contacts.
In 2003 I can open a contact, then select “new appointment with contact”. I then make the appointment on the calendar. When I click on that appointment and open it…there is a box in the lower left corner and the contact name appears there. I double click on that contact and it opens the contact. So…in the new versions, it does not work like that. There is not an option for “new appointment with contact” just “new appointment”. So it makes an appointment but does not link it to the contact. All I can do is manually link it. Same deal when creating tasks for contacts. Has this feature been removed in newer versions? |
