Default Different mailbox views on different PCs on Exchange

Hello. I searched the forums but was not able to find an answer to this.

I use Outlook 2007 for my work exchange server. On my big desktop, I like to view my mailbox folders with the reading pane function. On my little tablet (tiny screen), I'd prefer to view them without a reading pane.

When I turn off the reading pane on the tablet, it goes away on the desktop, suggesting that these viewing options are stored on the server.

Is there a way to set up the views with local control (i.e., reading pane view on one, but not the other, PC)?

Thanks in advance.
