Does Outlook automaticall restore itself with an office upgrade?
This may be questions with easy answers. I am just looking for assurances.
I will backup my Office 2010 Outlook .pst files I will uninstall Office 2010 Then, install Office 2013. The questions are will the install find the .pst file used presently by Office 2010 Outlook and install it automatically? If yes, then does it restore contacts, calendar, tasks, create email folders with the same names, and restore emails into them? If not, will importing my .pst backup file into Outlook do as I explained above? If not, then a recommendation for the next steps. Thanking you in advance!! |

Office 2013 was pretty much a stepping stone to later versions. I would not be inclined to replace Office 2010, which was one of the best versions of Office with this intermediate version. However, the answer to your question is yes.
