Default add Comment to inbox message

bs"d

Hello everybody,

I'm new here, and I'm glad to be in this group.

I want to know if I have any options to add comment to inbox message. The point is that after I complete the issue, I want to leave some comment to help me remember what I did.

A Lot of thanks,

Beri

Default How to add a message to Inbox messages

Four choices:

1. Add a flag and change the Flag to: message to something else by typing over Follow Up

2. Open the message and use the Edit, Edit message menu to add notes in the message body.

3. Create a Journal entry for your notes.

4. Purchase an add-in called Out Note from Microsoft Office.

Default more solution

Hello atrivedi

Thanks for your great answer.

By the time I found more one good solution.

The point is to add category.

This id the way:

1. Toolbar>view>sort by>Customize>Fields
2. In the new window in the top you see like this
'the maximum number of rows in multiple rows' add more one line.
3. In this window add the field 'category' from Available fields to Show these fields in that order in the other side. Make shore that the new field placed after the last used field.
Press ok ok. Now you see that your inbox every massage grow in one line. And now you can add to every massage custom category that shows in the new line.
4. Press right clicks on inbox massage and press on category.
5. In the new window write under 'item(s) belong to these categories' your unique note, and press 'add to list'

Press ok
That’s it, now you see the note in every massage that you add the category.
