Default Calendar meeting confirmation

(outlook 2007/exchange 2007)

I'm running the IT for a small company. Our manager has delegated
his calendar to his secretary. She sets meeting for him with other company employees. They confirm the meeting, but all those meeting confirmations are also returned to the manager, which really bothers him. He asked me to change that so that the confirmations would only go to the secretary...is that possible?

Thanks,
Joel

So, In this case the Secretary, put's calender items in the agenda on the mail account of the manager.. I think. So this problem is not related to the exhange server, but to the local outlook account.

I will put a screen shot in my next post on how to solve it!

Over here (unfortantly It's a dutch screenshot I didn't have an english outlook here)

You see Agenda (what ofc stands for agenda/calender) and undeneath that there is StandaartHerrinering. That means Default reminder.
If you turn this of, It SHOULD be fixed. I think this stands for the Local ootlook, so the secretary should still get the alarms.

Hope this helps! (btw.. This menu is in extra > optionts

Bedankt meneer!

I think that you are referring to "reminders"

Here's what I found:

"You can send a meeting request and not track the attendees' responses. Not tracking the responses can be useful when you send a meeting request to a large number of attendees and tracking attendance is not necessary.
  1. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Meeting Request.
  2. On the Actions menu, click Request Responses.
This turns off the Request Responses option. To turn back on requesting responses, on the Actions menu, click Request Responses."

Groetjes!
